ATL hosts 'Expo Cocktails'

WESTERN BUREAU:Weeks ahead of the October 11 Montego Bay Expo, ATL Automotive opened its showroom at Bogue City Centre, providing the perfect setting for a rich networking session with business leaders in the Second City.
A Montego Bay Chamber of Commerce and Industry Expo 2013 cocktail event, those in attendance at the event on Thursday (September 12) sipped wine, talked robust business and rubbed shoulders inside what could only be described as a luxurious showroom dotted with high-end vehicles.
The 'Expo Cocktails' were so dubbed, as they are a precursor to the even more intense session of business negotiations, seminars and workshops slated to unfold at Expo 2013 at the Montego Bay Convention Centre from October 11 to 13. The social initiative, which is being spearheaded by the chamber, was the second of its kind, with the first being held at Blue Beat Ultra Lounge in Montego Bay recently, and is essentially a stimulus for business-to-business talks.
The expo, which is celebrating its 15th staging, is even more anticipated this year as a high-level trade delegation from Atlanta led by the mayor, Kasim Reed, will have discussions on trade and investment opportunities during the biennial trade show.
At this most recent Expo 2013 Cocktails hosted by ATL Automotive, the team led by Tanya-Sue Young were the perfect hosts, even as the hors d'oeuvres and liquor from Sandals Resorts and J. Wray & Nephew flowed freely among the representatives from integral business sectors such as banking, telecommunications, construction, shipping, distribution, and manufacturing.
