Enjoy awesome burritos
For the Gleaner-sponsored Restaurant Week 2013, Chilitos Jamexican will again make the Nyam and Scram category muy caliente.
Come November 8-16, they will offer a mix of cultures that will just illuminate your palate.
The restaurant's special will be their 12-inch mouth-watering burrito - teriyaki pork, rice, lettuce, sour cream and cheese all come together in a delicious wrap.
According to Lorraine Carby, this dish has an exotic flavour and is ready in a flash. "It's faster to prepare and we try to not let people wait too long. And who doesn't like pork?"
She told Food that the mix of the Asian pork in a Mexican dish makes everything special about the burrito.
But if burrito is not your speed, they will have three special tacos for you to enjoy - teriyaki pork, barbecued chicken and refried black beans. Each of these tacos are topped with cilantro and sour cream, as well as a three-cheese blend to take your tastebuds on a cultural journey.
