The inner-city community of Southside came alive with the laughter of children for the launch of the Gleaner-sponsored Restaurant Week.

With City Life Ministries the charity targeted for this the ninth year of the most gastronomic event on the island, it was all about raising a fork and lifting the city.

And being a food event, it was not short on mouth-watering goodness. Here are some of the delicious highlights.
