For exotic Indian dishes
Passage to India Restaurant, located on the roof at Soni's Plaza in Ocho Rios, offers more than just an excellent view of the resort town.
"Patrons can look forward to a wide array of exotic, authentic Indian dishes," notes restaurant manager, Sushmitha.
This year's chef's special at Passage to India is the world-renowned and popular butter chicken.
The menu has been 'spiced up' for the Gleaner-sponsored Restaurant Week and, apart from butter chicken, it also includes Goanese shrimp curry, mushroom masala and hyderabadi vegetable curry, all served with zaffrani pulao, spinach dal and Indian bread.
The appetisers include mixed tandoori platter, which consists of tandoori shrimp, chicken afghani, and mini masala dosa.
What makes Restaurant Week even more special at Passage to India is that they have three chefs working - Balwant Sing, Manoj Sing, and G. Vinoth.
"And the ambience here is mind-blowing," Sushmitha adds. She is expecting a wonderful Restaurant Week at Passage to India and has pulled out all the stops to make it a successful occasion.
"I expect a lot, we are working very hard to see to it that everything goes well and our guests are comfortable and happy with the food."
