A little restaurant that is surrounded by a small backyard garden, Chasers Café, situated at 5 Belmont Road, is the perfect spot for outdoor dining with friends for lunch or dinner during the Gleaner-sponsored Restaurant Week.

In the middle of the Corporate Area, customers like the garden, as it adds a personal touch to the restaurant. One cannot help but smile upon entering.

George McCleish, owner and operator of Chasers, told Food, "We have been participating in Restaurant Week for four years and I started my garden four years ago, too. We certainly enjoy being a part of Restaurant Week every year. It has been good to us and we get new customers every year, who come back after the week. The food is good, which is why people are always coming back."

Executive Chef Garfield Williams whipped up his special grilled smoked pork chops with sweet-and-sour sauce and his grilled tenderloin served with Chasers' special tenderloin sauce.

"People should come out because the ambience is great and we have a friendly staff," McCleish ended.

Make them your backyard retreat during this year's Restaurant Week.
