The world's coolest beer company has rolled out another exciting product in its Red Stripe line. The new raspberry-flavoured beer, called Red Stripe Burst, has been doing well across Jamaica since its introduction to the market last month.

According to Head of Marketing at Red Stripe, Jomo Cato, "Flavours are all the rage - whether it is honey-flavoured Whiskies, cinnamon-flavoured vodkas, strawberry wine, chocolate stouts or citrus-flavoured lagers. Consumers are into experimentation in a big way. Red Stripe Burst leverages this consumer trend. It is a Jamaican product created for, and marketed to, the adult Jamaican consumer."

Packaged in a long-necked bottle with red and pink labelling, the new beer boasts a crisp blend of raspberries that is quite refreshing and is expected to appeal to both male and females.

With the success being reaped by the Red Stripe Light Flavours, introduced over the past two years - ginger, lime and apple, projections are that the new Raspberry beer will also do well.

Red Stripe Burst is available islandwide and is already having wide appeal to a diverse demographic in Jamaica.
