If your desire is for a personalised meal cooked just right and catering to all your special needs and arousing all your culinary senses, then Cooks Delivered is precisely what you need.

The brainchild of sisters and business partners Keisha and Karen Lowe, Cooks Delivered is Montego Bay's one-of-a-kind catering service which takes pride in offering made-to-order meals to facilitate every dining occasion.

Although Jamaican cuisine is their speciality, vegan and some international dishes are also offered.

"We prepare any meal for your intimate dining pleasure. Whether you are dining alone, with family or in large or small groups, we allow persons to relax and stay away from the kitchen because we take the stress out of meal preparation," explains Keisha Lowe, creative director and master chef.

When Food visited, she was literally caught with her hands in the pot, busily cooking up a storm for her long list of clients scattered across the second city. She explains her vision and passion for the food industry, noting that Cooks Delivered "deconstructs the food that people are used to and offers a finer way to enjoy it".

"I go back to the original way of cooking. I think cooking was being watered down and I wanted to be able to give back to people what they've grown to know and love - the true, authentic Jamaican taste," Lowe says.

She notes that, in keeping with the true Jamaican way of cooking, coconut is her all-time favourite ingredient, noting that "it tastes good, smells good, is very versatile, and can be used in so many different ways to add something extra to the flavour of the finished dish".

One of her original creations incorporating the use of coconut is the Cooks Delivered veggie stew - a vegan dish made with a variety of fresh vegetables, cooked with coconut and garnished with vegan cheese, which is optional. Lowe notes that this creation is one of her originals, inspired by her own personal journey into the vegan world.

The sisters are confident that their love for all things gastronomical, combined with their strong affinity for detail, will make Cooks Delivered the 'on call' catering service in Montego Bay.

In addition to personalised dining, Cooks Delivered also caters for cocktail parties, providing set-up and décor.
