Copperwood served up this delicious dish of coffee rum pork covered with guava and Scotch bonnet pepper sauce, with pineapple and cucumber salsa and polenta a crowd favourite.

It was a foodie's delight at the Pop-Up Gourmet Advantage Card launch on Hillcrest Avenue on January 15.

Food and savings are things that everyone can appreciate, and now with a card that pays you while you eat, it was a packed house at the launch.

But it was also a showcase of delicious, mouth-watering foods that ranged from delicious Indian appetisers to toe-curling desserts and, of course, the crowd-favourite pork.

Mystic India showcased some exotic mouth-watering Indian food, with Chef Mukesh Chand preparing their chicken tikka and vegetable sheekh kabab right before guests' eyes.

There were delightful dessert treats from Sarah Michelle desserts - beautiful and tasty chocolate tulip cups with grapes and delightful Italian dessert tiramisu. There was also fruit tarts such as jackfruit and mango passion fruit that every sweet tooth lover would enjoy.

The people-pleaser that had everyone in a frenzy was the delicious coffee rum pork with guava and Scotch bonnet sauce served at the Copperwood Premium Jamaican Pork booth. This kept the booth busy as persons kept going back for more. The pork was also served with a pineapple and cucumber salsa and polenta.

Founder and owner Jason Peart gave a short speech thanking the guests and participating restaurants for their support, and looked forward to them reaping the rewards of the Pop-Up Gourmet Card.
