1. Reggae Valentine - the love playlist. In honour of Reggae Month 2014, we've created this special Valentine's Day playlist, featuring some longtime and current odes to love.

2. Economy Update: Net international reserves fall back below billion-dollar mark. Jamaica's NIR dipped to a low of US$917.77 million end-January, according to data released by the central bank.

3. IMF update: third test under way. The IMF team arrived in the island sometime last week and was scheduled to have started their assessment on February 5, 2014 and complete it by February 14.

4. Chart of the Week: 14% year-on-year depreciation of monthly average US$ selling rate - January. Depreciation of the Jamaican dollar continued in January 2014 at a rate of 1.3% ($1.37), moving to $107.75 compared to $106.38 in December 2013.
