Always ones to be caught on the dance floor are doting husband Nari Williams-Singh and his lovely wife, Trisha.

WESTERN BUREAU:

Two large metal crystal trees with white and red lights depicting the Valentine's Day theme were erected at the entrance to Vale Royal last Thursday night as Prime Minister Portia Simpson Miller hosted the media.

This was the PM's annual media party and she wasn't about to be outdone.

Lounge chairs and love seats with coffee tables spread across the lush property, accented by bistro tables, was how the female head of Government paid tribute to members of the fourth estate.

It was all about love on the eve of Valentine's Day.

For the occasion, the indomitable Maureen Capleton provided decor, chief
culinary expert Lorraine Fung did wonders with the food, Rick Chin took
the digital era several notches up with his disco-lit dance floor, while
Mark Chin and Coppershot turned up the heat
musically.

For starters, guests were treated to stamp
and go, corn fritters, jerked sausages, manish water and pumpkin soup.
Then the lids were removed from the containers that had curried goat,
jerked chicken, and roasted sweet potato.

The main bar
was under a large almond tree, decorated with red and white round
lamps, all this with Vale Royal, the official home of the prime
minister, in the background, as more than 350 persons partied the night
away.
