Keiran King, Michael Abrahams new Gleaner online columnists
Comedian and poet Michael Abrahams may be known to tickle a funny bone or two, but he can be incisive and analytical, too.
An obstetrician and gynaecologist in his day job, Abrahams has strong views on a wide range of subjects and won't be shy about sharing them in exclusive online columns.
Gleaner Online readers will have him all to themselves every Monday.
Also joining The Gleaner's team of commentators is up-and-coming actor and playwright/producer Keiran King.
King has played lead roles in popular plays such as 'White Witch' and 'Mr and Mrs Blacke'.
He delivers out-of-the-box and hard-hitting commentary every Wednesday online.
And here's some trivia you might not have known about both recruits:
King is a university dropout, is writing his fifth play and has skinny-dipped with 19 other people in a pool.
Michael Abrahams is a big fan of rock music and is an advocate for the legalisation of marijuana.
