WingKing goes bad!

WingKing was tired of being good, and now it's time to be bad! So it has teamed up with Bad Dawg Sausages to offer something we all enjoy - hot dogs.

WingKing has added delicious gourmet hot dogs to its menu. In the short time we spent in the Oaklands Plaza store last Friday, several patrons came in just to order the new addition to the menu.

According to owner Chris Morgan, the venture was not on a whim as he is a fan of Bad Dawg Sausages and love the loyalty of its customers.

"I am a personal fan of Bad Dawg Sausages, and WingKing has a faithful fan base to the point that if we made T-shirts, they would wear it, and the same goes for Bad Dawg, and we just thought it would be a good idea to bring the two together," Morgan told Food.

Like WingKing, Bad Dawg is looking forward to this new venture.

"We are extremely excited to partner with WingKing as our first retail outlet outside of our existing mobile vending carts to offer our Bad Dawg fans a brand new way to experience the sausages they've grown to love," Alicia Bogues, brand manager of Bad Dawg Sausages, told Food.

She continued: "WingKing is a small business, and shares our beliefs in pushing entrepreneurship and job creation, so there was little hesitation to collaborate."

OTHER TASTY TREATS

This is not the only tasty collaboration taking place behind the counters of WingKing. Its home-made pineapple coleslaw is another wholesome concoction for those who want to have something delicious with a healthy twist.

If you are a Dawg lover, the chilli cheese dog may be just the thing to have your heart and palate celebrating.

Bad Dawg tries to have regular specials, and for this week, that will be the pizza dog, which is on limited offer and is a must-try.

It also has on the menu the classic dog, which is the tradition hot dog with ketchup and mustard, which we all know and love. The deluxe dog, which is the classic with the addition of two other toppings of your choice - mayo, cheddar cheese, jalapenos, relish, onions, or pineapple chunks.
