The Bible solves all problems

MANY PEOPLE are now challenging the existence of God, His deity, His wisdom and even the word of God.

At the same time, the world is in a crisis; the ozone layer, the economy, world peace and social systems are diminishing daily. Everything seems to be leading toward global catastrophe, all because of man's ignorance toward spiritual truth!

There are two 'trees' that God uses to speak to man prophetically about spiritual truth (Genesis 2:9).

First, the Tree of Life - which deals with one's experience of God's true wisdom and knowledge, as well as His power to renew one's energy, and to achieve everlasting life.

Second, the tree of the knowledge of good and evil - which speaks of false wisdom, death, self rule, independence from God, as well as logic and scientific reasoning. Interestingly, while many choose to embrace science over God, they fail to recognise that science is embedded in the omniscience of God.

There are two elements necessary to know the things of God:

A revelation of God by His spirit,

An appropriate spiritual response by man (I Corinthians 2:14 3:4).

Surprisingly, most who want to challenge God's existence, while they may not believe in God, attempt to tap into a different 'system'; just as it was in the Garden of Eden. They are attempting to eat from a different tree in order to find spiritual truth.

Spirit answers to spirit, not spirit to mind and logic! The Holy Spirit interprets spiritual things to spiritual people. The Holy Spirit is the only one qualified to reveal God to man because He is God! Man can know things about other men, but within himself, he cannot know anything about God, unless the Holy Spirit of God reveals it to him.

An unbeliever or an atheist possesses the spirit of the world. When one accepts Jesus as Saviour, he receives the spirit of God. It is very foolish for someone who is an unbeliever to attempt to 'prove' that there is no God, when they don't possess the Holy Spirit of God. For anyone to understand spiritual truth, and even the Bible, they must be born again through Jesus Christ.

No one who is blinded by the spirit of the world which is, in effect darkness, can experience true light which brings with it true revelation of the things of God and the knowledge of God, and even the purpose of their life and nation.

God can only communicate spiritual truth to spiritual men and women who accept Him first. Ask yourself these questions:

Can you make a withdrawal from a bank account without becoming a customer of that bank?

Can you receive the full benefits of being the member of a club or civic organisation without becoming a member or a part of that organisation?

A big part of the benefits of being a Christian - a follower of Christ - is learning about the One who is our head, and being able to communicate with Him in the language He has afforded us, one only He understands - speaking in tongues!

In answer to the two previous questions, yes, we can make withdrawals from the bank without being a customer, and we can access certain benefits from a club or civic organisation without being a member or part of that organisation. How do we get that? Hacking, stealing or corruption of the process! At any cost, it's illegal!

Trying to gain knowledge about God's existence through Kundalini Release and New Age Philosophies are methods of which God is not a part, nor does He support.

Many will say they know what the word of God is or says. However, reading the word of God is not the same as knowing it! How many times have we read legal documents, think we know what they are saying, and then get duped? It means then, that we need legal counsel. There are lawyers/legal counsels, because there is always the potential to misunderstand the words contained in a document.

An unregenerate man knows nothing about God! Only the regenerate spirit of man is capable of proper judgement. Those who have His mind will be able to discern or to understand spiritual truth.

Knowledge of the things of God is more of a spiritual than intellectual or theological nature. God's wisdom sees the world's wisdom as foolish, especially in the area of security, economic and political decision making. Why are so many countries deteriorating and unable to find solutions? Recognise that everything that was stated in the Bible that would come to pass is now happening.

Many who speak against the Bible are cowards! They know it is true, but because it brings conviction to them and it confronts their lifestyle, they deny it publicly, so as not to negatively affect their reputation.
