Networking at the 'Monday Club'

WESTERN BUREAU:
Some of the country's most powerful men converged on the Seawind Beach Club, Montego Freeport, on Monday night, as the First Global Bank (FGB) hosted the monthly 'Monday Club'.
An event solely for businessmen, hand-picked by the 12 entities that run the networking group, last Monday's event (April 14) was attended by chairman of GraceKennedy, Don Wehby, and the company's chief executive officer of GraceKennedy Financial Group, Courtney Campbell, whose role was complemented by the man in the west, Courtney Wilson, general manager of FGB.
An evening totally devoted to networking, Wehby, Campbell, Wilson, and their counterparts, Frank James, chief financial officer of the GraceKennedy Group, Michael Willacy and Stephen Whittingham, president of the group's financial services, worked the large group that turned out for the mingle.
A true mingle this was, as newcomer to the city, Ansel Clarke, managing director of Express Fitness, gave classes on money management and ways to become a millionaire and stay one.
Clarke, who owns and operates eight Express Fitness centres across the island, made all the difference to an unforgettable evening.
His effervescent personality and command of good sense must be exactly what Ralph Smith, Billy Craig, Noel Sloley, Kishin Samtani, Indru Dadlani, Fred Smith, the operators of Sandals, Hilton, Half Moon, PricewaterhouseCoopers and KPMG intended to have at these mingles, when they decided to form this powerful men-only forum.
