Kaluga Kafé brings exciting flavour to Old Harbour

Nestled in the rustic town of Old Harbour in St Catherine is the Kaluga Kafé that has brought a new flavour to the area.
Since opening on April 12, the restaurant has had tongues wagging about its array of tasty dishes.
"We are here to make a difference with the way people enjoy their meals, and this can only be done by giving them the best in taste and service. We have developed a concept that our food and drink must be of a first-class standard and reasonably priced,'' explains Executive Chef Akeeli Dixon.
His view was echoed by operators Adrian Samuda and Lincoln Moore, who added that the eatery is equipped to make customers feel at home.
When Food visited the 18 West Street location, the clean, spacious surroundings, pleasant staff and good vibes created a welcoming atmosphere.
Among some of the tastiest dishes are the Kaluga ackee and plantain spring roll in callaloo dip, dragon jerked pork, and grilled chicken in pineapple sauce.
And to wash it down, you have a choice of Kaluga sex on the beach, Kaluga knockout, Kaluga brown gyal, and Kaluga rum punch, among others.
It is widely agreed that the new kid on the block certainly brings a great flair to the area.
