Kendra Johnson (left), regional public relations manager for Sandals Resorts in Negril, presents the second-place prize to Christian Miller of Little Bay All-Age School during a Sandals Foundation Marine Awareness Month activity at the institution on Tuesday. The Sandals Foundation Marine Awareness month is observed each year in April. This year, the focus was on endangered species, and volunteers from Sandals and Beaches Negril, in collaboration with the National Environment and Planning Agency, visited the school and conducted presentations, activities, and a poster competition on ways to protect endangered species. The school was targeted as the Little Bay area in Westmoreland is home to endangered turtles. - Contributed
