Challenge Cup and High Tea

The sweet gods will definitely reign supreme at next week Saturday's (May 24) Challenge Cup Polo Match and High Tea. Issa Trust Foundation, the non-profit organisation established by Couples Resorts since 2005, has partnered with Chukka Foundation to host this inaugural event at the Chukka Cove Farm in St Ann, commencing at 3 p.m.

Outside of the nail-biting match, palates will be celebrating as Couples Resorts has pulled out all the stops for their High Tea. From exciting cupcakes to mousses and pies, they will have it all, complemented by a fine array of selected high teas and Blue Mountain coffee.

Of course, Food had to take a peek into the kitchen, and here is what was cooking. A complimentary Challenge Cup rum cocktail, courtesy of Appleton Jamaica, offered during half-time, which will go very well with chocolate rum truffle cupcakes, white chocolate chip and coconut macaroons, banana cream pies, and red velvet cupcakes, and mouth-watering finger sandwiches and scones served with Devonshire cream.
