The much-anticipated World Cup kicks off today and everyone will be cheering on their favourite teams. Usain Bolt's Tracks & Records will ensure that you do not do that on an empty stomach.
The popular eatery rolled out a few specials for their customers to feast on from June 12 to July 13, while enjoying one of the most-watched sporting events across the world. Guests can expect to get delicious platters that are ideal for their fingers, so if their team scores that winning goal, they will have their hands free to jump for joy.
According to Marketing Manager Kemoi Burke, "When coming up with a menu, we wanted something that people could manage, something that they can hold while eating and have a great game-day experience."
Two of the platters that will be on special are the appetiser platter and the game day platter.
The appetiser platter is a combination of jerk pork, Red Stripe barbecue wings, jerked chicken spring rolls, codfish fritters, and jerk chicken quesadillas. This is a platter that will have palates cheering.
The game day platter is also a must-have for a small group. It includes two beef sliders, crispy fried wings, jerked grilled shrimp and southwestern pizza.
Italy special
There is also something for those who would prefer to have their own meal to enjoy. Italy fans will have a lot to cheer for on the screen and their plates with the Viva Italy offer, which will also be on special. It comprises mouth-watering flatbread pizza made with authentic Italian flatbread topped with marinara sauce, fire-roasted peppers and onions, spicy jerked sausage speckled with mozzarella cheese - a pizza lover's dream.
Now, if you are a hot dog lover, you will be shouting more than 'goooaaalll' if you try the Jam Dung Sloppy Dog. This hot dog is an open-faced jerk dog with cubed ripe plantain, red onions, bell peppers, relish and scallions drizzled with mustard and filled with Pepper Jack cheese. This will have your taste buds playing a game of their own.
Their menu will also include other flatbread pizzas and burgers, and the original game day dog menu will still be active for all the hot dog lovers.
So, this World Cup, give your mouth a thrill that only this sport an bring!
