Praising Eyeland Eyeware on free glasses for GSAT students
THE EDITOR, Sir:
Prescription glasses are being offered free of cost! Unheard of!
I would like to give a big round of applause to Eyeland Eyewear. As part of corporate Jamaica, this company is doing an outstanding job. I am proud that Jamaican companies consider helping youth who have achieved their best.
They are currently giving away free prescription glasses to 1,000 GSAT students, no matter the school they pass for, be it traditional or non-traditional.
I think this is a great venture as back-to-school expenses are over the top, and the campaign saves parents of benefactors $3,900 to $30,000. After buying books and uniforms for their children, parents often put on hold the need for prescription glasses to see the blackboard well!
All that's needed is for prospective GSAT graduates to undergo a $1,500 test and provide proof of passing the national exam, and the prescription glasses will be yours. I hope that it operates just as advertised.
