World number one Rafael Nadal will hold a news conference shortly at Wimbledon to announce whether he is fit to defend his men\'s singles crown.
The Spaniard, plagued by knee problems, struggled with his movement during an exhibition match in London yesterday in a 6-4 6-3 loss to Lleyton Hewitt.
Nadal went down 4-6, 7-6 to Stanislas Wawrinka when he returned to the Hurlingham Club today.
His Wimbledon defence is scheduled to begin against Arnaud Clement on Monday.
Nadal was forced to withdraw from last week\'s tournament at Queen\'s Club with knee trouble and underwent intense rehabilitation in Barcelona.
