Portmore lead in Cash Plus League

Portmore United are sole leaders of the Cash Plus National Premier League football competition following a 3-1 victory against Sporting Central at Ferdie Neita Park yesterday.
Portmore United now moved to 43 points, three ahead of Tivoli Gardens, who suffered a 3-0 defeat to Village United at the Elliston Wakeland Centre.
Only two games were played on a day, which signalled the start of the crucial third round of competition.
Most of the teams were inactive to facilitate the Jackie Bell Knockout final.
