Officials in Brazil have identified 11 of the 50 bodies recovered from the Air France crash in the Atlantic, which killed 228 people three weeks ago.

They said among the bodies are that of five males and five females from Brazil.

The nationality of the eleventh man’s body has not yet been determined.

Investigators are reviewing the bodies and debris at a base set up in the northern Brazilian city of Recife.

The Airbus A330 plunged in the Atlantic on June 1, however the cause of the crash is still not known.

Meanwhile, search teams from several countries are still combing the crash site.
