Caribbean officials said a number of important issues will be discussed at

the thirtieth meeting of CARICOM heads of government next month.

Tourism, agriculture, services, and movement within the CARICOM Single Market and Economy (CSME) are expected to be the main issues.

CARICOM Secretary-General Edwin Carrington said although the Services Sector was an economic driver, the group had not done as much as it could to move it forward.

He also said significant discussions will be held on the movement of persons within the CSME.

Mr Carrington added that there was a new area of discontent in intra-regional trade, and he expects Jamaica to raise the issue at the meeting.

The meeting will be held in Georgetown, Guyana from July 2 to 5.
