KC, Ardenne advance to semis

Kingston College and Ardenne High cemented their places in the semi-finals of the Inter-Secondary Schools Sports Association/KFC Southern Conference Schools basketball League at the Stadium Courts yesterday.
Led by Omari Green with 31 points, KC defeated Wolmer’s 53 to 46, while Ardenne easily beat St. Jago 55 to 27.
KC and Ardenne advanced to the junior semi-finals from Zone One.
In another match, KC beat Wolmer’s 59 to 54 to qualify, while Ardenne stopped Meadowbrook 53 to 29.
Both Leagues continue this afternoon with the remaining semi-finals.
Excelsior face St. George’s College and Calabar take on St. Catherine in the Under-19 competition beginning at 3.30 pm.
In the Junior League, Tivoli meet St. George’s and Jamaica College face St. Jago.
