Venezuela reassigns US envoy

Venezuela\'s foreign minister says his country will restore its ambassador to Washington.



A US official also confirmed to Reuters that the US would return an envoy to Venezuela.



Foreign Minister Nicolas Maduro today said the placing of the envoys would happen in the coming days.



The agreement comes nine months after Venezuela’s envoy was withdrawn from the US in a diplomatic row.



The initial dispute came when Venezuela took action after claiming that the US was plotting against Bolivian President Evo Morales.
