West Indies, India face off in first Test

The first of four One-Day Internationals between West Indies and India bowls off this morning at Sabina Park in Kingston, beginning at 9 a.m.



The second game will also take place at Sabina Park and is scheduled for Sunday. The other games are set for St Lucia on July 3 and 5.



The West Indies, who surprisingly reached the semi-final of the 20/20 World Cup in South Africa earlier this month, have made several changes to the team.



Runako Morton, Narsingh Deonarine and Ravi Rampaul are back in the squad, while Darren Bravo, the younger brother of all-rounder Dwayne Bravo has received a first time call up.



India will be without top batsman Sachin Tendulkar and three other key players in Zaheer Khan, Virender Sehwag and Suresh Raina.



West Indies captain Chris Gayle is expecting a tough series despite the absence key players from India.



Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni is also expecting a competitive series citing that the teams are well balanced.
