Stewart pulls out of 200 metres

Jamaica’s Olympic double medallist Kerron Stewart surprisingly pulled out of the 200 metres at the National Championships last night.



This means that the 200 metre Beijing Olympic bronze medallist will only compete in the 100 metres at the upcoming World Championships.



Stewart says she did not want to run the risk of injuring herself by competing in both events.
