Sisters Venus and Serena Williams from the United States will be in action this morning as the quarterfinals of the Wimbledon Tennis Championship in England begins.

Defending champion Venus will play Agnieszka Radwanska of Poland, while Serena will tackle Victoria Azarenka of Belarus.

The Williams’ sisters are attempting a rematch of last year’s all-family final.

Venus Williams booked her place in the quarterfinals yesterday when opponent Ana Ivanovic of Serbia retired one game into the second.

Williams, seeking her sixth Wimbledon title, led 6-1, 0-1 when Ivanovic was forced to quit.

Serena, seeking her third Wimbledon title, advanced by beating Daniela Hantuchova of Slovakia 6-3, 6-1.

Also advancing were Russian Elena Dementieva and Agnieszka Radwanska of Poland.

Russian Elena Dementieva will also be in action this morning. She will place Francesca Schiavone of Italy.
