Yemen plane crashes in Indian Ocean

A Yemen plane carrying about 150 people has crashed in the Indian Ocean near the Comoros archipelago.



The details of the flight were not known up to news time and airline officials say they was no information if there were any survivors.

The exact location of the crash was also not immediately clear.



However, a civil aviation official says based on preliminary information, the plane probably went down a few kilometres from the capital, Moroni.



Earlier this month 228 people were killed when Air France flight 447 crashed into the Atlantic.
