DaCosta added to World Youth squad

Waquar DaCosta of Jamaica College has been included in Jamaica’s squad for the World Youth Track and Field Championships set for July 8 to 12 in Bressanone, Italy.
DaCosta, the CARIFTA Under-17 800 and 1500 metre champion, will compete in the 800 metres having met the qualifying standard of one minute 48 seconds flat.
DaCosta joints Kemar Bailey Cole, Adam Cummings, Wayne Hyman, A-Shawini Mitchel, Travis Smikle and Javere Bell as members of the men’s squad.
