An Antiguan court has thrown out two of the six election petitions brought by the Opposition Antigua Labour Party following the general election in March.
The court dismissed the petitions on the grounds that they were submitted too late.
The opposition party went to court to contest the results in the All Saints West and St Paul constituencies.
Prime Minister Baldwin Spencer said he is pleased with the court’s decision.
During the general election the Spencer Administration won nine of the 17 seats to return to power.
