Jamaica 65th in FIFA rankings

Jamaica has moved up 11 places to 65th to once again be the top ranked football team in the Caribbean, according to the latest FIFA/Coca-Cola World Ranking; which was released today.



Brazil rose four spots to reach the top of the rankings, for the first time since August 2007. European champion Spain, upset by the United States (US) in the semi-finals last week, slipped to second.



The top five is completed by the Netherlands at third, Italy remained fourth and Germany slipped two places to fifth.



Russia, England, Argentina, France and Croatia round out the top ten.



The U.S. despite being beaten 3-2 by Brazil in a thrilling match Sunday rose two spots to No.12.



The biggest mover in the latest set of rankings is North Korea, it jumped 23 spots to 83rd following its qualification for its first World Cup since 1966.



Higher up the rankings, Australia hopped over 13 teams to reach 16th, its highest spot since FIFA began its rankings in 1993. Ivory Coast rose 20 places to become Africa\'s top team at No.18.
