England Lions replying strongly

England Lions, replying to Australia’s first innings total of 358, were well placed at 291 for five at Sports Time on today’s second day of the final practice game before next week’s Ashes series.



The match is being played at Worcester in England.



Opener Stephen Moore scored his first century of the season to put England Lions in a strong position. He scored 120 from 176 balls and his opening partner Joe Denly chipped in with 66.



The batsmen at the crease are Steve Davies on 50 and Adil Rashid on 29.



Australian paceman Brett Lee has taken all five wickets to fall for 47 runs.
