Jamaica face Cuba in semis

Jamaica will continue their quest to win the Caribbean Basketball Championships in the British Virgin Islands tonight when they face Cuba in the second semi-final.



The game is scheduled to start at 8 p.m.



Jamaica qualified for the semi-finals last night after crushing Barbados 96-74 in their final Group ‘A’ preliminary game to finish second in the group with five points.



T&T won the group with six points, following an 86-82 victory over The Bahamas.



Cuba, who have a perfect record, top Group ‘B’ with six points, one ahead of British Virgin Islands.



The semi-final winners will qualify for the 2010 Centrobasket Tournament. The losers will face off for third place and the last spot for the Centrobasket Tournament.
