Jamaica’s local-based basketballers arrived in the country yesterday after winning the Caribbean champions in Tortola, British Virgin Islands on Saturday.

The Jamaicans defeated hosts British Virgin Islands 65-61 in a tense final to win their fourth Caribbean title.

As a result of winning the championship Jamaica have booked one of three places to the COCABA Tournament in August at a place to be determined.

The other qualifiers are the British Virgin Islands and Cuba, who finished third.
