Portmore beat Barbican

Portmore Strikers scored a 3-0 victory over defending champions Barbican at the Barbican playfield yesterday in the Sherwin Williams-sponsored Women’s Football League.



The game was the second match of a Group ‘A’ double-header at the venue. In the first encounter Constant Spring edged Trelawny’s Women 3-1.



In another Zone ‘A’ game, Arnett Gardens clipped Maverley Hughenden 2-1 at Maverley Playfield.



In the lone Zone ‘B’ encounter, Santos and Meadhaven United battled to a goalless draw at Bell Chung Stadium.
