Rain has stopped play with Bangladesh on 42 without loss on a rain-hit opening day of the first Test against a replacement West Indies side at Arnos Vale Sports Complex in St Vincent.
West Indies named seven players to make their Test debuts in light of the industrial action by the region’s first choice players.
They are wicketkeeper Chadwick Walton, Travis Dowlin, Nikita Miller, Ryan Austin, Kemar Roach, Dale Richards and Omar Phillips.
West Indies are being led for the first time by veteran Barbadian left-hander Floyd Reifer.
