Jamaica responds to Guyana
Jamaica, responding to Guyana’s 160, will resume this morning on 67 for four in their second round TCL Group West Indies Under-19 three-day Cup match at Sabina Park.
The batsmen at the crease are Paul Palmer on 20 and Jermaine Blackwood on seven.
On yesterday’s first day, Patrick Harty took four for 52 to lead Jamaica’s bowling attack. Akeem Dewar two for 21 and Romeo Dunka two for 34 supported him.
At Jamaica Broilers Grounds, Windward Islands will resume on 12 without loss chasing Trinidad and Tobago’s first innings total of 325.
At Elletson Road, Leeward Islands, replying to defending champions Barbados’ 259, will resume on 63 for one.
Barbados, the Leeward Islands and Trinidad and Tobago lead the six-team round-robin championship with 12 points each. Jamaica are second from the bottom.
