Beijing Olympic triple gold medallist Usain Bolt will continue his preparation for next month\'s World Championships by running the 100 metre tomorrow at the Areva Meeting outside Paris.

The Jamaican sprinter says once the weather is good he will attempt to lower his world record.

Bolt set world records in winning both the 100 and 200 at last year\'s Beijing Olympics. He also helped Jamaica win the 4 x 100 relay in record time.

He says his next goal is to unseat defending 100 and 200 champion Tyson Gay and win a world title at the World Championships in Berlin.

Gay, who is not running at the meet, ran 9.77 seconds in the 100 last week at the Golden Gala in Rome and 19.58 seconds in the 200 at the Reebok Grand Prix in New York in May.

Besides Gay, Asafa Powell is also skipping the meet.

The field will include Yohan Blake of Jamaica, Daniel Bailey of Antigua, Churandy Martina of the Netherlands Antilles, 2003 world champion Kim Collins of Saint Kitts and Nevis and Olympic runner-up Richard Thompson of Trinidad and Tobago.
