Makeshift West Indies face Bangladesh
The replacement West Indies side will go in search of a series-equaling victory when they face Bangladesh in the second and final Test starting at the National Stadium in Grenada tomorrow.
The team, which was hastily arranged due to the strike of the first choice players, lost the opening test by 95 runs last week.
Seven players made their debut for the Caribbean side.
West Indies have made just one change to the squad, with Barbadian left-hander Ryan Hinds being called up to join the 14-man unit.
Hinds’ inclusion will strengthen the batting, which faltered in the opening Test. In the first innings, they wasted a position of 227 for four to be bowled out for 302, losing their last six wickets for 80 runs.
Chasing a victory target of 227 in the second innings, the Windies perished for 181 with only David Bernard Junior getting over 20 with an unbeaten half-century.
