England against Australia in second Ashes

Australia, replying to England’s first innings total of 425, were struggling on 148 for six at Sports Time on day two of the second Ashes Test at Lords.



Pacer James Anderson has taken four of the six wickets to fall.



He had Phillip Hughes caught down the leg side off his glove for four, captain Ricky Ponting caught at first slip by Andrew Strauss for two in controversial manner, Michael Clarke caught for one and bowled Marcus North for a duck.



The other wickets went to Andrew Flintoff and Graeme Onion.



Earlier, England resuming on 364 for six lost Strauss for 161 off the second ball of the day. However, the hosts got over the 400-mark after Anderson, 29, and Onions, 17 not out, put on 47 in 53 balls for the last wicket.



Ben Hilfenhaus ended as the leading wicket taker for Australia with four for 103, supported by Mitchell Johnson three for 132 and Peter Siddle two for 76.
