Gleaner defeat UWI

Gleaner Company defeated University of the West Indies 1-0 yesterday at St Georges College to move to joint second place in the Kingston and St Andrew Football Association, Western Sports/Business House Division One League.



Kemel Mullings scored the lone goal in the 78th minute to push Gleaner Company to 9 points, the same as Scotiabank Group, who have played a game less.



Gleaner Company and Scotiabank Group are 2 points behind leaders Caribbean Cement, who defeated Courts Jamaica in the day’s other game.
