The former Nevis premier Vance Amory has described a Commission of Inquiry into his administration\'s operations as illegal.
The ruling Nevis Reform Party had appointed the Commission to investigate several transactions conducted under the administration of the Concerned Citizens Movement.
Mr Amory said the commission is contrary to the Commission of Inquiry Act, and has no jurisdiction to examine him on any matter.
But the deputy premier, Hensley Daniel, has dismissed Mr Amory\'s claims, saying the Commission was duly established.
