Pakistan lead Sri Lanka by 82
Pakistan took an 82-run lead against Sri Lanka at stumps on day two of the third test match after Danish Kaneria bagged 5 wickets to restrict the host team\'s first innings to a modest score.
The match is being played at the Sinhalese Sports Club in Colombo.
Pakistan, batting a second time, reached 16-1 at the close.
They were bowled out today for 299 after resuming on 289-7. Khurram Manzoor top scored for Pakistan with 93, while Mohammad Yousuf scored 90.
Thilan Thushara was the most successful bowler for Sri Lanka with 5-83, supported by Nuwan Kulasekera 3-47.
Sri Lanka were then dismissed for 233-66 runs behind Pakistan’s first innings total, despite Mahela Jayawardene’s 79 runs.
Danish Kaneria returned best figures for Pakistan with of 5-62, while offspinner Saeed Ajmal took 3-70.
Sri Lanka lead the three-match series 2-0.
