The Nevis Island Administration has dismissed suggestions from former premier, Vance Amory, that a Commission of Inquiry into his administration\'s operations is illegal.

The governing Nevis Reformation Party initiated the probe to look into several transactions conducted while his party was in government.

The Deputy Premier of Nevis, Hensley Daniel said the commission has been properly constituted.

However, the former premier is insisting that the inquiry into his administration is biased and against the law.

He has since taken this issue to court.
