Cuba’s President, Raul Castro, has promised to send doctors to the African country, Angola.
President Castro made the commitment during a meeting with Angola’s President, Jose Eduardo dos Santos.
He said the more then 200 doctors are to be supplied to Angola with the intension of reinforcing the country’s health system.
It’s believed that this assistance will go a long way as the African country has been in dire straits following decades of civil war.
President Castro’s visit to Angola is a part of his African tour, which has seen him traveling to Egypt, Algeria and Namibia.
