Update: TCL Fourth Round Round Up

Jamaica have taken total control over Windward Islands on today’s second day of the their fourth round TCL Group West Indies Under-19 three-day match at the Jamaica Broilers Group Oval.



The host country, which has already bagged first innings points, reached 366-5 at the lunch break, a lead of 235 runs. Jamaica resumed this morning on 185-4.



The batsmen at the crease are Jermaine Blackwood on 105 and Akeem Dewar 37 not out.



Audy Alexander has so far taken 3-77.



Windward Islands were bowled out for 131 on yesterday’s first day against the bowling of Akeem Dewar 4-29 and Patrick Harty 4-41.





Over at JAMALCO, defending champions Barbados, replying to Guyana’s first innings total of 169, were 165-6 at the lunch interval.



While over at Chedwin Park, Trinidad and Tobago, replying to Leeward Islands’ first innings score of 174 reached 173-3 at lunch.



T&T lead the six-team standings with 30 points, 6 ahead of joint second place Jamaica and Leeward Islands on 24. They are followed by Barbados on 19, Guyana on 16 and Windward Islands on 4.
