US army to assist Guyana fire probe

The US army\'s Southern command will help Guyanese authorities with the investigations into last Friday\'s fire which destroyed the main building of the Ministry of Health.
Officials in Georgetown suspect arson.
The Southern Command comprised over 1,200 military and civilian personnel representing the US Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, and several other federal agencies.
There has been heightened security at all government institutions following the blaze.
