Mexico are champions of CONCACAF once again.
The Mexicans hammered host country the United States 5-0 yesterday in the final of the 2009 CONCACAF Gold Cup which was played at the Giant Stadium in New Jersey.
All five goals were scored in a stunning second-half surge and as a result of the victory, Mexico have snapped a near decade-long stretch of 11 games without a win on US soil.
Jamaican referee Courtney Campbell was the man in the middle yesterday and his countryman Ricardo Morgan was one of the Assistant Referees.
