West Indies looking to rebound against Bangladesh

West Indies will look to rebound today when they face Bangladesh in the second One-Day International at Roseau in Dominica.

The host lost the opening One-Day International in Dominica on Sunday, going down by 52-runs to Bangladesh despite a five-wicket haul from Kemar Roach.

The West Indies camp had expressed disappointment with the pitch following the defeat citing that they were expecting a hard, pacy and bouncy wicket.

The West Indies batsmen failed to cope with the Bangladesh spinners with left-arm spinner Abdur Razzak leading the way with four wickets for 39 runs from 9.4 overs.

If Bangladesh win today they will record their first One-Day series triumph against a current Test-playing nation.

The series will conclude on Friday at St Kitts’ Warner Park.
